Friday, December 30: DUI at 2nd Street Pike by Kings Lane

At 9:34 p.m. an officer on patrol saw a vehicle traveling northbound on 2nd Street Pike swerving and speeding. The vehicle was stopped and the driver identified as William Bray, 51, of Newtown. Observations of Bray along with his inability to successfully complete a series of field dexterity tests led to his being taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under in the influence. He was taken to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis, then to the Warminster Township Police Department for processing. After processing he was transported to NTPD headquarters where he was released to a family member. Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

Saturday, December 31: Theft on Mulberry Drive

The complainant reported that sometime between Dec. 7 and 30, her business laptop computer was stolen from the home. No value was given for the item.

Theft on Cynthia Drive

The complainant reported the theft of $1,000 cash and various pieces of gold jewelry valued at approximately $3,000 from the home by a known subject sometime between Dec. 23 and 31.

 

Sunday, January 1: Theft at the 3100 block of Sheffield Place

The complainant reported that sometime between Dec. 24 and 31, an unknown person stole between $500 and $550 from her.

Underage Drinking on Andrea Drive

At 2:45 a.m. officers responded to a report of an underage drinking party with an unconscious juvenile female. On arrival it was found that the property owners were not home and their 17-year-old daughter had thrown a party. One of the guests, a 17-year-old female, drank to the point of unconsciousness. The Tri Hampton Rescue Squad transported her to the Saint Mary Medical Center for treatment. The victim’s mother was on scene when police arrived and went to the hospital with her daughter. In addition to the property owner’s daughter and the unconscious female, two 16-year-old females were also found at the home and were found to have been drinking. The parents of the girls were all notified.  Each of the juveniles will be cited for the liquor law violations. Officers believe there had been several other juveniles at the home who left prior to police arrival.

DUI on West Bristol Road by Wordsworth Road

While patrolling West Bristol Road at 6:45 a.m. an officer came upon a vehicle parked on the side of the road with its operator asleep behind the wheel and the engine running. The officer was able to awaken the driver and identified him as Aleksandr Khantsis, 38, of Langhorne. His appearance and inability to successfully complete a series of field dexterity tests led to his being taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving, or under the actual physical control of the vehicle, while under the influence. He was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis. He was then taken to the Warminster Township Police Department and processed.  Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

Theft on Eisenhard Drive

The victim reported having between $7,000 and $10,000 worth of jewelry stolen from her home sometime between Dec. 2 and 31 by unknown actor(s).

Attempted Residential Burglary at the 200 block of Woodenbridge Road

The complainant reported that he and his wife had left the home at about 3 p.m., returning at about 7 p.m. Upon their return they found a rear window to have been broken. The complainant and officers checked and found no signs that there had been entry into the home.
