Monday, December 12: Theft on Doe Run Drive

The victim reported discovering that sometime between early November of this year and Dec. 9, various pieces of jewelry had been taken from her home, the total value of which was estimated to be $2,290.

Theft at the 200 block of Cecelia Acres Drive

The property owner reported that sometime after 11:30 p.m. Dec. 10, unknown actor(s) had removed various holiday decorations from their property. The value of the stolen items was estimated to be $105.

Criminal Mischief at the Retention Basin off of Bennett Place

At 4:52 p.m. a resident reported a vehicle that drove over a curb and into the retention basin off of Bennett Place. Officers arrived and located the vehicle parked on Bennett and occupied by two male juveniles. Officers did find significant damage to the basin. The vehicle's 17-year-old operator, from Newtown, admitted to having been driving in the basin. The subject's father was contacted and informed his son would be cited for having caused the damage after estimates could be obtained for repair costs.

 

Tuesday, December 13: Criminal Mischief at the 1000 block of Grenoble Road

The victim reported that sometime between 8 p.m. Dec. 12 and 7 a.m. Dec. 13, a rock was used to break the front windshield of his vehicle that was parked in the street in front of his home. The value of the damage was not known at the time of the report.

Criminal Mischief at the 1000 block of Grenoble Road

The complainant reported having seen a vehicle drive down the street twice when on a third pass she heard a loud thud sometime between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. In the morning she found damage to the rear window to her vehicle that was parked in the street, apparently caused by a rock. The value of the damage was not known.

Theft from Vehicle on Aspen Drive

The victim reported having parked her vehicle in the street in front of the home at about 8 p.m. Dec. 12 and found at 11 a.m. Dec. 13 that sometime overnight the vehicle had been entered by unknown actor(s) who took a laptop computer and camera. A rock was thrown through the back window of the vehicle, shattering it. No value was given for the damage or stolen items.

Criminal Mischief at the 200 block of Wisteria Drive

The complainant reported that sometime between 10:45 p.m. Dec. 12 and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 13, a side view mirror was broken, possibly by a rock. The cost of repairs was not known at the time of the report.

Forced Residential Burglary on Highland Drive

The property owner reported that sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. entry had been forced into her home via a ground floor window by unknown actor(s). At the time of the report nothing was found to have been taken from the home.

Theft on Vermeer Drive

The complainant reported finding that sometime between 4 p.m. Nov. 24 and 8 a.m. Nov. 25, his wife’s $8,000 watch had been taken from the home's master bedroom by an unknown person.
