Pet Shop Burglarized, Car Break-Ins Reported: Recent Police Activity

Recent activity as reported by Northampton Township Police Department.

Northampton Township Police reported the following recent incidents:

  • Sometime between midnight on May 8 and 4:30 a.m. on May 12, someone entered an apartment on Middle Holland Road and took bottles of prescription medications. The victim indicated this was not the first time this has happened, the first being sometime between March 26 and April 4.  No value was given for the medications. 
  • At 2:15 a.m. on May 14, officers received an alarm call for Lick Your Chops, a pet supply store on 2nd Street Pike. When officers arrived, they found that someone had forced entry into the business and ransacked a portion of the interior. $100 in cash was taken, police said.  A K9 team from the Warminster Township Police Department responded to the scene and was able to track a scent to a nearby lot but no suspect was found.
  • A resident reported that sometime between May 9 and May 13, someone entered his locked Jeep and stole prescription medication from the center console. 
  • A resident reported that sometime overnight Thursday, someone entered his vehicle that was parked in the driveway of his Tanglebrook Drive home and stole the remote opener to his garage door.  He found the garage door open but nothing from within the garage appeared to be missing, police said.
