One Person Killed In Car Accident Friday

The accident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. at Buck and Holland roads.

 

One person was killed in a car accident Friday night at Buck and Holland roads.

Police were dispatched shortly before 11 p.m. after a car struck a tree. According to dispatch reports, EMS requested four medic units to the scene. PennStar 6, an emergency medical helicopter, was placed on standby.

Northampton Township police confirmed there was one fatality in the accident but did not release details about the victim.

According to an article published on www.phillyburbs.com, the victim was a 20-year-old resident of Philadelphia.

The driver's name is being withheld because some family members have yet to be notified. He was pronounced dead at St. Mary Medical Center.
