NTPD Police Blotter: May 11-13

Underage drinking, public drunkenness and theft in the police blotter from the weekend.

Friday, May 11: Criminal Mischief at Old Jordan Road by Wyncoop Court

The complainant, a resident of Wyncoop Court, reported having seen a group of seven to eight boys, 12 to 15 years of age, damage the split rail fence located on Old Jordan Road by Wyncoop Court on May 10 sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

At 7:23 p.m. officers responded to a home in the 3100 block of Sheffield Place for the report of an intoxicated, 16-year-old, male who was incoherent. They were then dispatched to an open field off of Banbury Court for a report of another male juvenile intoxicated and incoherent. The subjects from both locations were transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center. While handling these incidents officers learned of an underage drinking party at a home in the unit block of Taylor’s Way. On arrival they found seven intoxicated juveniles and five juveniles who had not been drinking. The seven intoxicated youths at the home, along with the two transported by ambulance from the two other locations, will be cited for the liquor law violations. Cited were four 16-year-old males and one 16-year-old female, along with three 15-year-old males and one 15-year-old female. All of their parents were advised.

At 10:47 p.m. patrols were dispatched to a report of a burglary in progress at a home in the unit block of Mulberry Drive. On arrival they spoke with the complainant who indicated a home on the block that is currently vacant and no one should be inside. Officers saw juveniles running inside the indicated home.  Eight juveniles were found in the home. Seven subjects admitted to having been drinking; the eighth had not. All will be cited and their parents were advised. Cited were three 15-year-old males, three 15-year-old females and a 14-year-old male.

 

Saturday, May 12: Public Drunkenness at the 1000 block of Holland Road

At 4:12 a.m. an officer on patrol observed a male in dark clothing staggering in and out of the travel lanes on Holland Road. He was stopped and identified as George Carfi, 22, of Warrington. Carfi was found to be intoxicated and was transported to a friend’s home. He will be cited for public drunkenness.

 

Sunday, May 13: Criminal Mischief on Loretta Circle

The residents of three homes in the unit block of Loretta Circle reported that sometime overnight their mailboxes had been struck by an unknown object.  Each box was valued at $500.

Theft at 280 Middle Holland Road – Twining Village

The complainant, a nursing supervisor at the facility, reported receiving information from a staff member that an amount of a liquid narcotic was missing from a single bottle that was stored on a drug cart.
