Criminal mischief and vandalism, including a racial slur, reported.

Thursday, March 29, 2012:  Theft from Vehicle at the 200 block of Doris Avenue

The victim reported that sometime between 7 p.m. hours on March 28 and 8:30 a.m. on March 29, unknown actor(s) had forced the lock on the side door of his van and stole various power tools with an unknown value. 

Vandalism at the 200 block of East Heron Road

The complainant reported that sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 2:47 p.m. hours unknown actor(s) had spray painted a racial slur in the street in the 200 block of East Heron Road.

Friday, March 30, 2012: Criminal Mischief at 100 block of Brookside Drive

The victim reported that sometime between March 18 and March 24, the light post in front of their home had been spray painted by unknown actor(s).  The value of the repairs was not known at the time of the report.

Saturday, March 31, 2012: Theft at the 1800 block of Powderhorn Court

The resident reported that sometime between 5:30 p.m. on March 30 and 7 p.m. on March 31 unknown actor(s) had stolen two Easter decorations from her lawn.  The items had a combined estimated value of $75.

Sunday, April 1, 2012: Criminal Mischief at Secon Street Pike by Twining Ford Road

The complainant reported that while traveling north on 2nd Street Pike near Twining Ford Road at about 2:40 a.m. his windshield was struck by an unknown hard object.  He stated he saw juveniles in the area of the bushes on the west side of the roadway.  The value of the damage to the vehicle was not known, two other motorists, traveling in the same area at about the same time, reported similar incidents with only minor damage to one of the vehicles. 

Vandalism at the Unit block of Gregory Place

The complainant reported having seen, at about 12:45 p.m., 3 male juveniles wearing dark colored hoodie sweatshirts and jeans, walk past his home while removing a paint ball gun from a tan bag.  The subjects then fired the gun at his home and car striking both with green paint balls.  The complainant chased the subjects but lost sight of them by .  The complainant was able to clean the paint off with no permanent damage.

Criminal Mischief at the Unit block of Holyoke Road

The property owner reported that sometime after midnight his mailbox was knocked over.  Damage to the box was consistent with having been struck by a bat or similar type object.  While checking the area the officer was informed by another resident in the same block that he had been the victim of similar type damage to his mailbox.  No value was given for either of the boxes.  A third box in the same block was found by patrol to have also been damaged, attempts to contact its owner were unsuccessful. 

Criminal Mischief at the 100 block of Highspire Road

The complainant reported that at about 0930 hours someone had knocked at his front door and left his mailbox that had been vandalized on his front porch.  The mailbox had been knocked off sometime between 11:30 hours on March 31 and 9:30 a.m. on April.  Damage to the box was estimated at $30. 

Theft from Vehicle at the 200 block of Clark Court

The victim stated that sometime overnight his unlocked vehicle had been entered by unknown actor(s) who then stole a GPS unit, MP3 player and a violin case.  The items had a combined value of $250.

Monday, April 2, 2012: Criminal Mischief at the Unit block of East Rambler Road

The complainant reported having heard a loud bang at exactly 0030 hours.  She looked outside but was unable to see anything unusual.  At 0700 hours she went outside and found the lid open on her heavy duty plastic mailbox.  Inside the box were found items and commonly associated with bottle bombs.  There was no structural damage to the box.
