NTPD Police Blotter: April 2-10

A theft from a local church offering and more are in this week's blotter.

Monday, April 2: Vandalism at 1008 2nd Street Pike – Richboro Hess Station

A representative of the business reported that sometime between midnight and 7 a.m. someone had sprayed silly string on the gas pumps.

Tuesday, April 3: Attempted Theft at the 2100 block of East Village Road

The victim stated that sometime after midnight but before 9:39 a.m. someone had removed the right side rear tire on her vehicle that was parked in the street by her home. The tire and its lug nuts were found across the street.

Theft from Vehicle at the 3400 block of Norwood Place

The complainant reported that sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. someone had entered his unlocked vehicle that was parked in the lot and stole two gift cards with a combined value of $105.

 

Wednesday, April 4: Theft at the 100 block of Nelson Drive

The complainant reported the theft of a bicycle and scooter from his garage sometime between March 19 and April 4. The items had a combined estimated value of $450.

Theft from Vehicle on Loretta Circle

The complainant reported that sometime overnight his unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway had been entered by unknown actor(s) who then stole a GPS unit and a pair of binoculars.

Theft at the 200 block of heron Way Terrace

The victim reported that a package containing a Kindle that had been delivered to her home on March 9 and left on the front porch by the delivery service had been stolen. The item was valued at $160.

Criminal Mischief at Middle Holland Road and Saint Leonard’s Road

The complainant reported that between 8:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on April 3 while she was driving east on Middle Holland Road, something hit her driver’s side window, cracking it. On examining the vehicle the officer found it had been struck by either BB’s or two small rocks. No value was given for the damage.

 

Thursday, April 5: Criminal Mischief on Almshouse Road

The victim reported having parked her vehicle in the lot outside of a friend’s apartment in the unit block of Almshouse Road at about 1 a.m. When she returned to the vehicle at about 2 a.m., she found the driver’s side window shattered. The value of the damage was not known at the time of the report.

Theft at 1053 Holland Road – Saint Bede’s

A representative of the church reported that sometime during the past two weeks unknown actor(s) had stolen approximately $200 to $300 from an offering box at a shrine in the church. 

DUI-Related Traffic Crash at the 100 block of West Julianna Drive

At 9 p.m. officers responded to a traffic crash in the 100 block of West Julianna Drive where a vehicle had struck a mailbox. On arrival they found the vehicle sitting on top of the mailbox and its operator, Karen Clementi, 59, of Churchville, still behind the wheel. Observations of her, her physical state and inability to complete field dexterity tests, led to officers taking her into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under the influence. She was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of her blood were obtained for analysis. Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

Criminal Mischief at Middle Holland Road by Justice Drive

The complainant reported that while traveling westbound on Middle Holland Road at about 9:31 p.m., juveniles threw rocks at his vehicle, denting it. No estimate was given for the damage.

Vandalism at the 100 block of West Georgianna Drive

The complainant reported that unknown person(s) dumped two bags of garbage on his vehicle sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. There was no permanent damage.

 

Friday, April 6: DUI-Related Traffic Crash at Bridgetown Pike by Woodstream Drive

At 2:24 p.m. patrols investigated a single vehicle crash on Bridgetown Pike in the area of Woodstream Drive. On arrival they found that a southbound vehicle that had been traveling on Bridgetown Pike had drifted off of the edge of the roadway and struck a PECO pole and rolled onto its roof. The operator, who was identified as Shannon O’Neil, 24, of Feasterville, was able to extricate herself from the car. Shannon refused on-scene medical care and was taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under influence based on officer’s observations, along with an inability to complete a series of field dexterity tests. She was transported by police to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of her blood were obtained for analysis. While at the hospital she requested to be checked for injuries. She was released by the officers into the care of medical staff. Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab analysis.

Vandalism on Gregory Place

The complainant reported that unknown actor(s) had thrown a green shopping bag full of leftover food on his vehicle that was parked in the driveway. The incident reportedly occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. There was no permanent damage.

 

Sunday, April 8: Theft on Appalossa Trail

The victim stated that sometime since Christmas, 2011, three rings, with a combined estimated value of $8,500, had been stolen from her home.

 

Tuesday, April 10: Theft at 301 Twining Ford Road – Council Rock Maintenance Department

A representative of the school district reported the theft of compressors from two old refrigerators and an old freezer that were being stored at the facility until they could be scrapped. The items had an estimated value of $900.

DUI-Related Traffic Crash at Pennington Place and Potters Place

The complainant reported a vehicle that was parked in a driveway by the intersection of Pennington and Potters Place had struck a lamp post and then fled the area at about 1:30 p.m. About an hour later the complainant saw the same vehicle return and park in the drive. A female exited the vehicle and stumbled into the home as if she were intoxicated. Patrol arrived and examined the vehicle, finding damage consistent with having struck the lamp post, along with fluids leaking from it. Officers then contacted the female who had been driving and was found in the home. She was identified as Gail French, 62, of Holland. Observations of French led to her being taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under the influence. She was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of her blood were obtained for analysis. She was then taken to NTPD headquarters for processing before being released to a family member. Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report. 


Warrant Arrest on Bluebird Road

Officers took Mark MacKuse, 49, of Holland into custody at his home for an outstanding arrest warrant out of the Mercer County, NJ, Sheriff’s Office, on a charge of Burglary. MacKuse was arraigned and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility pending extradition to New Jersey.
