This week is Fire Prevention Week and Northampton Twp. Volunteer Fire Company held its open house at all three fire stations.

Northampton Twp. Volunteer Fire Company held its annual open house Friday, Oct. 14, for Fire Prevention Week where adults and kids learned how to protect their families from fire.

Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey the Bear were both there entertaining the kids and teaching fire safety tips. Kids got to use fire extinguishers, spray water, explore fire trucks and meet real fire fighters.
