Man Charged with Sexual Assault of Teen

Zachary "Zac" Opielski, of Yorkshire Road in Fairless Hills, is facing several charges.

A 21-year-old Bucks County man was arrested after police alleged he had sex with a 14-year-old Northampton girl in late March, police said.

Zachary “Zac” Opielski, of Yorkshire Road in Fairless Hills, is being charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a victim under 16 years of age, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 16 years of age and unlawful contact with a minor, court records show.

According to Northampton police, the victim met Opielski in the concessions line at the United Artist movie house at the Oxford Valley Mall in Middletown Township in February. The two exchanged cell phone numbers and began texting each other.

When the 14-year-old's parents were out in late March, she invited the Fairless Hills man over to her parent's house. After he arrived at the home, Opielski allegedly "engaged in criminal sexual contact with the girl," police stated.

The crime was reported to police by the victim and her mother in April and the 21-year-old was arrested last week.
