DUI Charges Pending for Holland Man After Car Crash
In a recent blotter, police detailed a car crash that may result in DUI charges.
DUI charges will be filed after a 21-year-old Holland man refused a blood test after a car crash, according to a police blotter.
On Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 12:38 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle accident on Buck Road at the Railroad overpass bridge by Falcon Drive, a police report said. On arrival they found a vehicle that had struck the bridge wall and sustained disabling damage. Both the vehicle’s driver and its passenger were transported by ambulance to the Saint Mary Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
While at the hospital, officer’s observations of the driver, a 21-year-old from Holland, led to their asking that he submit to the drawing of blood samples for analysis, which he refused.
