Car Wrapped in Plastic, Firecrackers Used to Blow Up Mailbox, Police Say

Northampton Township Police reported the following recent activity:

An East Elizabeth Lane resident reported that sometime between March 25 and 26, his vehicle had been egged. The vehicle sustained minor scratches and a small dent, police said. The cost of repairs was not known at the time of the report.

A Silo Hill Road resident reported that at about 10:45 p.m. on March 26, someone knocked on their front door and when he checked, the door had been egged.

A North Traymore Avenue resident reported that on March 26, he heard noises outside the home at about 9 p.m. The next day he discovered that several firecrackers had been used to blow up his mailbox, police said. The mailbox was valued at $75. 

A Dorchester Lane resident reported that sometime between 9 p.m. on March 26 and 6:15 a.m. on March 27, her mailbox and its post were broken. Damage was estimated at $200, police said.

An Appalossa Court resident reported that sometime between 9 and 11 p.m. on March 27, someone wrapped his vehicle in plastic wrap. The car was parked next to his garage, the resident told police. There was no damage to the vehicle, police said.
