Sing-A-Long Choral Group Being Formed at Senior Center

A choral group is being formed at the James E. Kinney Senior Center under the direction of Kay assisted by Pete Palestina.  The only requirement is that you must be a member of the Senior Center.

A discussion will be held at the Center at 1:00pm on Monday, May 19th.

Kay noted “anybody can sing; it doesn’t matter if you are good at it or not.  Any age can do it! Some may feel that singing out loud makes them look foolish, but doing silly things sometimes helps to dispel those feelings of anxiety, especially the day-to-day worries we all experience”. Kay added that she sang in a choral group for 17 years, studied for 3 years and can help you if need be.  You don’t have to be a great singer, just someone who wants to sing, have fun and feel good.
