Northampton Held Successful Flag Day Event June 14th

Successful Northampton Flag Day Event

Northampton Township held its annual Flag Day Flag Disposal Ceremony on June 14th. Township Veterans Advisory Committee and Marine Corps League member Pete Palestina was the coordinator and MC for the event. Featured speakers were Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick and Bucks County Veterans Affairs Director Dan Fraley. Hailey Brown sang the National Anthem and Marine Corps League Patriot Detachment 1230 provided the Color Guard.  Boy Scout Troop 5 Churchville, led by Scoutmaster Tim Hough,  ceremonially retired the many flags brought
there for disposal.  The BucksMont Squires of Song entertained the attendees with some great Patriotic songs.
