Neither Snow Sleet or Rain Could Stop the Marines Saturday

Welcome Home and flag exchanges for 3 Marines recap

I posted a video on YouTube of the Welcome Home and flag exchange event we had at Northampton Township on Saturday afternoon honoring 3 Northampton Marines. Thank you Ed Cotton for taking it for me.  A nice crowd came out despite the snow in addition to Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick who presented certificates and flags flown over the Capital in honor of the 3 Marines. My salute to Lance Corporal Dan Croak, Lance Corporal Michael Moscola and Lance Corporal Jesus Marchese. Special thanks to Private Hugo Marchese who placed a Marine flag in the display in honor of his brother Jesus who is currently serving in Afghanistan.  Also to Supervisors Chairman Frank Rothermel, Supervisors Dr. Kim Rose and Eileen Silver. Supervisors George Komelasky and Jim Cunningham were out of town and could not be there, but sent their heartfelt wishes. And finally, to Bernadette Heenan who was in Montana and very much wanted to be there, she also sent her well wishes.
