The Players:

Dino Ciliberti—The editor of the Palmer/Forks Patch writes a weekly Philly Sports Chatter column that appears every Saturday on all Patches in the Lehigh Valley, South Jersey and the Philadelphia suburbs. He's a long-suffering Philadelphia Eagles fan. Dino is overseeing Pigskin Picks.

Daryl Nerl—Editor of the Bethlehem Patch. He's also a New York Giants fan.

Rob Chakler—Editor for Upper Moreland and Lower Moreland Patches. Rob is also a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Elizabeth Rich—Editor of the Upper Saucon Patch. Believe it or not, she's a Kansas City Chiefs fan. (Elizabeth's note: What can I say, it's a bad relationship I keep going back to...)

Thomas Sunnergren—Editor of the Phoenixville Patch. Tom gets to cover "Blobfest" since Phoenixville is where the legendary movie "The Blob" was filmed. He's also a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

James Boyle—Editor of the Warminster Patch. He's also a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Jesseka Kadylak—Editor of Northampton Patch. Having grown up in the Steel City of Pittsburgh, she has been a die-hard Steelers fan since birth (heck, she even snuck her Terrible Towel in her wedding photos).

Yeah, Jess and I didn't do so well taking Da Bears!
Edward B. Basner September 14, 2012 at 04:39 pm
First - You let a Giant's fan on your staff. Have you no sense of decency?
Second - Some of your staff (but not Daryl or Jesseka who aren't Eagles' fans) actually think the Eagles will win on Sunday. It's bad news for the Eagles this weekend. Third - But happy times for NYG, Pitt, & SF.
Daryl Nerl (Editor) September 14, 2012 at 04:45 pm
I think I'm insulted.
Dino Ciliberti (Editor) September 14, 2012 at 04:49 pm
Daryl, you should be!
Ed -- Hey, I have to root for my Birds, no matter what. Otherwise, what kind of fan would I be. Yeah, I had to let Daryl in. He's a good guy (even though he is a Giants fan!)
Jesseka Kadylak (Editor) September 14, 2012 at 07:06 pm
I'm trying to pick winners based on who I actually think will win, not based on team allegiance. Maybe James is doing the same?
For instance, this week the Eagles are up against the Ravens and despite my hate for the Ravens, I still think they are going to win it.
Elizabeth Rich September 14, 2012 at 09:17 pm
This is KC's week, I just feel it...
Glenn Glennerson September 14, 2012 at 09:31 pm
Vick will suffer a career threatening injury this week and Nick Foles will throw for 400 yards and 5 TDs
Susan Koomar (Editor) September 14, 2012 at 11:28 pm
Glenn, I agree with you. If not this week, then next.
Marc Lombardi September 15, 2012 at 01:22 am

I'm pretty shocked the Eagles pulled it off... but I'm really glad the Ravens lost! What does everyone else think of the outcome?
Keith Heffintrayer (Editor) September 16, 2012 at 11:45 pm
KC's week for what? :-X
Elizabeth Rich September 17, 2012 at 02:30 am
Just put me out of my misery now.
Dino Ciliberti (Editor) September 17, 2012 at 06:17 pm
Fly Eagles Fly!
Anthony Wayne September 17, 2012 at 09:13 pm
You can't win them all, if you don't win the first two. Great start Eagles!
