Enjoy Butterflies Galore and More This Weekend

Check out a few family-friendly events taking place throughout the region this weekend.

 
Where/When: Shady Brook Farm, (931 Stony Hill Rd., Yardley); Friday, June 22; 6 p.m.
Why Go: Free music. Entertainment for the kids. Wine. Why not?
Cost: Free to listen. Wine will be sold by the glass or bottle.


Where/When: Shady Brook Farm (931 Stony Hill Rd., Yardley); Saturday, June 23 10 a.m.
Why Go: Learn about flowers that will help attract butterflies. In addition to a little bit of education, every attendee will also receive a free 6-inch annual.
Cost: Free


Where/When: , (800 Bustleton Pk., Richboro); Saturday, June 23; 12:30 p.m.
Why Go: Vaccinations can be costly, but they are important for your pet. My Pet Vaccines provides free examinations with the purchase of any standard vaccinations, blood tests for heartworm and/or lyme tests and FeLV/FIV tests.
Cost: Free check up with the cost of vaccines. See pricing for dogs and cats. Only cash is accepted.

Why Go: Take the chance to learn more about a nearby town. There will be fun activities, educational displays, memorabilia, trivia, games and historical exhibits.

Why Go: See beautiful butterflies and learn more about the insect from Shady Brook Farm's expert, Rick Mikula. There will be arts and crafts and inflatable attractions for children.
