I am so going to miss you, my wonderful friend. Thank you for sharing with me your humor... your sincere friendship .... your wisdom ... but most of all your compassion. You'll live in my heart always, Johnny ... sleep with the angels, my friend!

Through High School, through college, through a part of my professional life, through the deaths of both my parents, and, later down the road, through one of my darkest moments, you were always there when I called on you. Thanks John. May you always dream of Angels.... RICHARD E. PATTON, ESQUIRE

I bumped into Mr. McGee when I was getting meals out of the freezer at the back of church. There was usually a funeral on and he was in the lobby of the church. He always had a smile and would hold the door open for me. May Jesus show his love and compassion for the family left behind through the community he was so much a part of. Lord have Mercy on him.

let everyone remember. he was a good man. kind person. and was good to anyone who he came in contact. as we all knew, if we had a death in the family. we trusted John, and he was honest, kind, and esp. you felt better once you left the funeral home, he gave you peace. and... may you find that same peace you had always given and shown to others. my deepest sympathies to his beloved family. and never forgot the love he had for you. that will never change.
