Help Liberty USO Honor Heroes on Nov. 9

On November 9th, 2012 we will honor our heroes, past, present and future with a fundraiser sponsored by the USO of Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey (Liberty USO) and Northampton Township.

The United Service Organizations, commonly known as the USO, is a private non-profit organization. Chartered by Congress, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its programs. The USO is recognized by the Department of Defense, Congress and the President of the United States but is not part of the U.S. government. Thousands of USO volunteers work to provide a home-away-from-home for our troops and to comfort the families they left behind.

On Nov. 9, we will honor our heroes, past, present and future with the USO Dinner/Dance fundraiser sponsored by the USO of Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey (Liberty USO) and Northampton Township. The event will take place at The Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland beginning at 7 p.m. The program includes dinner, music and dancing to the sounds of The John Clark Big Band as well as many upscale raffle items. The public is welcome.

Click here to purchase tickets to the Liberty USO Dinner and Dance online. Tickets can also be purchased in person by stopping by the Northampton Township Parks & Recreation office at 55 Township Rd. in Richboro.

If you are unable attend you can still pay tribute to our men and women in uniform by making a donation or by sponsoring the event or a military family's tickets. Please contact Northampton Township Parks & Recreation at 215-357-6800 x 256 for donation opportunities.
