There is a great story, though I am not sure if it is true, that has circulated around the world about Alfred Nobel and the death of his brother Emil Nobel. The story states that the press thought that Albert had died in an explosion in his dynamite factory when actually it was Emil.

The items that followed in the newspaper describing Alfred and his legacy all revolved around his inventing dynamite and the toll it took on humankind. Alfred decided that he did not want to be remembered for creating death in the world and set out to create what would become the Nobel Peace Prize thereby changing his legacy.

So what is your legacy? Here is your challenge and it is a morbid one. Pretend you have died. Now write your obituary to discover your legacy. Are you satisfied with it? If not that is okay because your story is not complete. You can change it, which is why most people set goals every New Year. They want to change.

You were designed for accomplishment. You were engineered for success. In addition, you were endowed with the seeds of greatness.
