The Calm Before the Storm
Calm before the storm, a walk through the Churchville Nature Center.
It was a nice overcast Saturday at the Churchville Nature Center, the kind of day that calls for a walk through natures color show. I thought this might be the last chance this season to get some nice Fall foliage shots after hearing all the media hype of impending doom from the "Frankenstorm." But the winds from Hurricane Sandy could strip the trees of the colorful leaves this year. I managed to take an hour break, away from the droves of people emptying the grocery store shelves and filling their cars and gas cans with fuel. It was a clam before the storm.
