Northampton Supervisors Lend a Helping Hand

Rothermel/Cunningham, Northampton Lions Club Lend a Helping Hand at Hillcrest Elementary School

This past Saturday, Northampton Township Supervisor Frank Rothermel and I volunteered at Hillcrest Elementary School's annual Fun Fair.

Supervisor Rothermel and I worked with the Northampton Lion's Club serving refreshments to children and parents.  The Lions reached out for volunteers and we were happy to help.  The abundance of school programs that enrich the lives of our children make Northampton a great place to live!

The day was dedicated to providing fun, safe activities for school aged children.  Highlights included games, prizes, raffles, inflatables, food and music.  The PTO has done an amazing job with this festival.  The food trucks were a special addition this year that gave us an opportunity to meet and chat with township residents.  Several hundred people attended this great event.

Not only did the day allow for families to enjoy the wonderful weather and food, but there was, as always , an opportunity to win prizes!  We, along with The Committee For A Better Northampton, donated a gift basket valued at $60 to the fun fair.  An identical basket was also donated to the Richboro Elementary School Bulldog Bash which ran simultaneously.
