Richboro Middle Student to be Honored as Distinguished Citizen

Brett has been selected as a Distinguished Citizen for being an advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund.

The Northampton Township Supervisors will honor Richboro Middle School student Brett Rubin at a meeting later this month.
 
Brett has been selected as a Distinguished Citizen for being an advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF). The JDRF is an organization whose purpose is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes through research. 

Brett has type 1 diabetes and has spent years advocating for a cure.

"Council Rock joins Northampton Township in congratulating and commending Brett for his citizenship and advocacy," an announcement from the district said.
