Weekend Planner: Breakfast With Santa, Holiday Light Show & Toys for Tots

AOY Small Works Show Opening Reception
Where/when: AOY Art Center, 949 Mirror Lake Rd, Yardley, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
Why go: Come meet the artists, have some refreshments and view 100 small works (6"x6"), handcrafted in a large variety of media in this historic farmhouse on Patterson Farm. Proceeds benefit AOY Art Center educational programs and improvements.

7th Annual Bucks County Holiday Treefest
Where/when: 
Bucks County Visitors Center, 3207 Street Rd, Bensalem, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why go: The Bucks County Visitor Center in Bensalem transforms into a wintry wonderland as the main gallery becomes home to the 7th Annual Bucks County Holiday Treefest.

Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farm
Where/when: Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Rd, Yardley, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 5 - 10 p.m.
Why go: Experience the magic of millions of lights illuminating acres of farmland at the Shady Brook Farm 2012 Holiday Light Show! Enjoy whimsical light displays and familiar characters. Drive through the Holiday Light Show in the comfort of your own car or enjoy the show on a horse-drawn hayride.

Pet Valu Animal Food and Supply Drive
Where/when: Pet Valu, 800 Bustleton Pike, Richboro, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, all day
Why go: Donate leashes and collars to help Pet Valu lessen the burden for shelters and struggling pet owners who need supplies to properly care for, and provide a healthy life for their furry companions. They are also collecting toys for training and stimulating playful and social lives, beds and coats to keep warm, canned and dry food, or monetary donations to help shelters purchase supplies most needed.

Christmas Tree Sale Hosted by Boy Scout Troop 153
Where/when: Kmart, 176 W. Street Rd, Feasterville Trevose, Saturday & Sunday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Why go: A Lower Southampton Boy Scout Troop will be selling fresh-cut Christmas trees. They will have Douglas Firs and Fraser Firs in all sizes & shapes in addition to a 'Stand Straight' tree drill. They will be able to help you secure your tree to your car.
Cost: Prices vary—cash only.

Toys for Tots 'Toy-Giving Extravaganza'
Where/when: PT Transformations, 400 Mill St, Bristol, Friday, 2 - 5 p.m.
Why go: Join us for a “Toy-Giving Extravaganza” as WBCB 1490AM does their remote radio broadcast. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy for local area children and check out the festivities, including face painting, balloon animals, giveaways, contests, and more.

Toys for Tots
Where/when: Wings to Go, 1045 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville Trevose, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, All Day
Why go: Wings to Go is collecting new and unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots organization from now until December 9.
Cost: Free

Kiwanis Breakfast with Santa
Where/when: Applebee's, 1063 Street Rd, Southampton, Saturday, 8 - 10 a.m.
Why go: Have breakfast with Santa. Proceeds benefit community service projects of the Southampton Kiwanis Club.

Breakfast with Santa
Where/when: The Episcopal Church of the Redemption, 1101 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, Saturday, 8:30 - 11 a.m.
Why go: Come join us for our annual Breakfast with Santa.  Breakfast features pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice, coffee, fruit and milk. Kids get their picture taken with Santa Clause and get a balloon and candycane.
Cost: $5 per child, $6 per adult

Holiday Shopping Extravaganza
Where/when: Upper Southampton Community Center, 901 Willow St, Southampton, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why go: Do you holiday shopping at this indoor event with over 60 vendors including direct sales, local crafters, green eco-friendly vendors and more.
Cost: Free to browse

4th Annual Mom's Night Out
Where/when: St Charles Borromeo School, 1704 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Sunday, 6 - 9 p.m.
Why go: Enjoy a fun and relaxing evening of holiday shopping with friends browsing over 40 crafters and vendors. Complimentary wine and cheese will be available, as well as door prizes.
Cost: Free to browse

Bristol Township Christmas Tree Lighting
Where/when: 

Why go: Enjoy Bristol Township's annual tree lighting where local chorus groups will perform and Santa will arrive by fire truck.
