Weather Service: Flood Watch in Effect

The area is under a flood watch until late tonight.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for several counties in southeastern Pennsylvania, including Bucks and Montgomery counties.

The watch is in effect until late tonight, with 1.5 to 3 inches of rain expected to fall before midnight. 

According to the release, this could result in small streams flooding, especially in those areas most prone to it.

Precautionary measures include driving on roads that do not have poor drainage systems and those located next to small creeks and rivers.
