Upcoming Parks and Recreation Events

Here are some of the Parks and Recreation Department programs and events on the calendar for spring that are worth looking into.

March 3: Snuggle Up to Books is at the at 6:30 p.m. and the theme is "Blowin' in the Wind." There will be crafts, snack, stories and lots of playtime for your younger ones. 

March 8:  will host Mardi Gras, Manicures and Mocktails with two seatings at 5:00 and 7:30 p.m. This event is a great opportunity to go out with your girlfriends and enjoy a three-course meal, pampering and great company. You will also receive a free future dinner at Patagonia. Come celebrate in style!

March 30: Take a trip to NYC with Parks and Rec. Roundtrip scheduled tickets are only $38 and are also available for May 21. This is a great way to see the city and get there for cheap.

April 16: The Easter bunny will be in town! Breakfast with the Bunny will be here before you know it. Watch www.northamptonrec.com for more information as the holiday approaches. 

May 1: The Women's Day of Relaxation and Healing is an event for women to explore local beauty businesses while getting pampered and learning about the different options for health and wellness in the process. Those wishing to attend must pre-register and the event costs $25 for residents, $28 for non-residents.

On-going: The last day to cash in on the early discount rates for the Northampton Swim Club is March 31 so hurry up and register if you want access to member benefits like discounted lesson rates, summer swimming and more. Also, the Parks and Recreation Department has discounted movie tickets for sale. At just $7.50, these tickets will save your family a bundle on an evening out. Tickets can be purchased at the administration office or the during the day.
