Seven years ago on March 21, Twitter was born.
On March 21, 2006, co-founder Jack Dorsey sent the first-tweet that read, "just setting up my twttr," according to an article on Media Bistro.
At the beginning, the article said Twitter was first known as stat.us and then changed to Twttr, before finally becoming the social platform it is today.
