Seniors Participate in National Walking Event

This was the third year that the Northampton Senior Center participated in the National Walk@Lunch Day.

Approximately 50 seniors from the Northampton Senior Center participated in the National Walk@Lunch Day this week.

This was the third year that the Northampton Senior Center held their walk. It was led by Sheila Jobs and Kathy Gurevitch of the Senior Center administration and Northampton Supervisors Kimberly Rose and Eileen Silver.

Participants did a two-mile walk on Township Road.  Assisting in the event were people from Independence Blue Cross and several students from the Drexel University nursing program.
