Regional Roundup: Police Release Sketch of Home Invader

There was a report of child luring in Warminster, but it turned out to be a prank.

: The 11th annual Reading and Writing Women event at Bucks County Community College will be held March 26 in commemoration of Women’s History Month

: The Lower Southampton Police Department released a sketch of a man they believe broke into a home February 21.

: The victim, a young boy, told the police that while he was playing in his front yard, a white male driving a van approached him and yelled, "Hey, buddy. Do you want any candy?"  

: "This is actually my first pageant," Jordyn Skubish said. "For awhile it's been something I wanted to do. So I just applied."

:  on East Moreland Avenue will be joining  as Hatboro's only smoke-free places to grab a meal and a drink, according to Main Street Manager Stephen Barth.

A developer has submitted a sketch plan to build 33 condominiums in five buildings. Lower Moreland will decide whether or not to grant a hearing to the company to change its zoning to allow the proposal.

: The construction of the new Route 202 Parkway, which will improve travel between Montgomeryville and Doylestown when it opens this fall, will result in travel restrictions this week in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

: Dozens of people were unable to get into the Central Bucks School Board meeting room during the Feb. 28 meeting, because it already was filled to capacity. Public comment from more than 60 people went on for more than two hours. It will be limited to 90 minutes at the next meeting.
