Regional Roundup: Bensalem Ruby Tuesday Closes

A seafood chain restaurant will take its place.

: The Ruby Tuesday restaurant on Rockhill Drive has permanently closed and will be converted in to a Marlin and Ray's seafood restaurant. An opening date for the new restaurant has not been set.

: Donald F. Kalina Jr., 24, of Doylestown, was pulled over at 3:30 a.m. on March 28 for failing to keep right, police said. He was later charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, careless driving and failure to maintain lane. The passengers were charged with weapons violations. Allison L. Groman, 24, of Doylestown, had a knife tucked into her waistband while Nicholas Patterson, 24, of Lambertville, was carrying a BB gun, police said.

 Neshaminy High School's Interact Club and Dance Team's seventh annual Neshaminy Idol raised more than $2,200 for Feasterville's Wet Nose Rescue and The American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge.

: For 30 hours, a group of Montgomery County Community College students went without food or drink in order to experience what true hunger is like. Participating students raised a total of $2,826.31 through fundraisers. Every $30 raised can help feed a hungry child for a month.
