: The Warminster Costco opened this past weekend with a full parking lot a membership sign-up line that snaked around the entrance as potential customers were eager to see what kind of deals they could find.

The  and  hosted the Lower Southampton Township Fire Prevention Day this past Saturday. Members of both companies and the township fire marshall, Bill Oettinger, worked together to teach residents how to be prepared in the event of an emergency.

Stormwater Issues Top Hatboro Candidates' List: Six candidates are vying for three seats on borough council. With the November election, the balance of power on Hatboro's borough council could potentially shift. The 4-3 Democrat-controlled council stands to lose its majority status if even one of the incumbents, three of the four Democrats, loses a re-election bid.

: The Lower Moreland Board of Commissioners approved a settlement agreement with Catalyst Outdoor Advertising, LLC that will allow billboards to go up in the township.

: The Newtown Halloween Art Scene event was held over the weekend. As part of the event, artists painted windows on State and Sycamore streets, decorated cupcakes and painted pumpkins. 

: The Northampton Township Police Department is urging residents to lock their cars when left unattended. In the past two weeks' police reports alone, there have been 13 thefts or attempted thefts reported from unlocked cars.
