Pet of the Week: Maryanne

Maryanne has had a bit of a rough past. Due to unknown circumstances in her initial upbringing, she takes a while to warm up to people and trust them. She scares very easily and is slowing building up her confidence. Being around other dogs is good for her, and she's learning how to walk in a leash and play with toys.

This hound/shephard mix is probably less than a year old. Although she's pretty afraid of humans, she hasn't shown signs of aggression towards anyone. She also does well with a crate and weighs about 17 lbs. Maryanne is up-to-date on her shots and will be spayed and tested for heart worms before she goes home with anyone.
