Outdoors Events and Bridal Show this Weekend

Check out these local events this weekend.

Another mostly sunny and unseasonably warm February weekend is on tap and there are plenty of ways to enjoy it. Here are some options.

'ANNIE'
Where/when: Ohev Shalom Saturday and Sunday, multiple showings.
Why go: The Ohev Players have worked hard to put on this performance of the classic musical and it will delight people of all ages.
Cost: $20 

MAPLE SUGAR DAY
Where/when: Churchville Nature Center, Sunday at 1 p.m.
Why go: The public is invited to join us for this unique experience of making “sugar water” into sweet, sticky syrup. Everyone will learn the age-old process handed down by the Native Americans. There will be a variety of interpretive stations showing visitors the various steps taken to collect sap and make it into syrup.
Cost: $5

HUNTING & FISHING EXPO
Where/when: Delaware Valley College, 700 E Butler Ave, Doylestown, Saturday, 9 a.m.
Why go: he Delaware Valley College Men's LAcrosse team will be hosting the 1st annual Outdoor/Hunting and Fishing Expo. There will be vendors with trade items related to fishing camping hunting and much more. Free admiossion and food available. Presentations will also be put on to inform the people about hunting and fishing activities.
Cost: Free

KIDS (5-7) MAKE THEIR OWN SWEET TREATS
Where/when: Lower Southampton Township Building, 1500 Desire Ave, Feasterville Trevose, Sunday, 10 a.m.
Why go: Children will learn everything you need to know about making candy. Each class is based upon holiday or season. Every class is different and yet super delicious. Come make your own rock candy and gummy bears.
Cost: $12 for residents, $15 for non-residents

4th ANNUAL BRIDAL SHOW
Where/when: Bucks County Visitors Center, 3207 Street Road, Bensalem, Sunday, starting at 2 p.m.
Why go: The only event showcasing Bucks County's finest facilities under one roof! Plan your wedding or event in a day! From castles and wineries, to museums and country estates...the 4th Annual Bucks County Bridal Show will help you create your unforgettable Bucks County wedding. Registration is FREE, but all brides and guests are encouraged to pre-register to be entered into the romantic getaway drawing. Pre-register and enter to win a romantic getaway in Bucks County.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION CONCERT
Where/when: Macedonia Baptist Church, 218 N State St, Newtown, Sunday, 4 p.m.
Why go: A Praise & Worship experience, featuring the Choirs and Dance Ministries of Macedonia.
