Five Things You Need to Know

Here's your "five" for July 22, 2011.

  • Stay cool today! Temps will be close to 100, according to the National Weather Service. Send Patch your pics of thermometers hitting the triple digits and we'll post them!
  • Do you have a child with autism? AMC Neshaminy 24 is holding another sensory-friendly film event tomorrow and this time it's "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2." The cost is $6 and the movie starts at 10 a.m.
  • There's another Share the Harvest drop-off in Newtown tomorrow. If you have an extra row of food in your garden you're willing to donate to local food pantries, bring it to Carousel Village from 10 a.m. to noon.
  • The candlelight vigil for fallen soldier Kenneth B. Elwell is at 8 tonight at the Dembowski Memorial Park in the center of Richboro. Join the the community to support the family in this difficult time. 
  • Tomorrow is Youth Football Appreciation Day at Dick's Sporting Goods. All families, coaches and participants in the Northampton Indians will receieve 15 percent off their entire purchases at the Dick's store near Oxford Valley Mall. Bring in the printed flier and save!
