Five Things You Need to Know

Here's your "five" for July 8, 2011.

  • Looks like it's going to be another warm weekend with scattered thunderstorms. The highs will be in the mid to upper 80s through Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
  • The in Newtown continues tonight with Opera New Jersey. The show starts at 7 at the Crossing Vineyards and Winery. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
  • There are all kinds of activities at the this weekend including the regular Saturday Morning Bird Walk and Insect Discovery.
  • The new Once Upon A Time Players' play "Urinetown" starts tonight at the Washington Crossing Open Air Theater in Washington Crossing, NJ. The group is directed by Richboro-native Brendan Stackhouse and performs about six plays around the Bucks County area each year. The show starts at 7:30 tonight through July 10 and tickets are $15, $10 for children 12 and under. 
  • Celebrate Cow Appreciation Day today! Visit a Chick-Fil-A dressed in a cow suit and receive a free meal. Check out Patch later for details on this special holiday.
