Five Things You Need to Know

Here's your "five" for June 3, 2011.

  • It's going to be a mighty busy weekend in Northampton and the surrounding areas as we slowly creep into summer. Tonight art lovers will find lots to love at the at the Tyler Park Center for the Arts.
  • Tomorrow history meets horror with the sixth annual Baust House performing arts and open house event. Local professional musician Tom Baust will open his house, at 115 Middle Holland, Rd., to the public from noon to 4 p.m. so they can tour the site of famous murders in the 1800s. The event is free and donations are accepted.
  • Pet lovers unite! The Animal Hospital of Richboro is hosting a Pet-A-Palooza from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Included will be rescues up for adoption, raffles for great items like a Justin Bieber autograph, a doggy kissing booth, silent auction and much more. 
  • "Seascape," a Langhorne Players' production, opens at 8:00 tonight at the Spring Garden Mill. Check out a preview of the play here.
  • Highs in the 80s this weekend with a chance of thuderstorms on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service. Keep a lookout for family yardsales as well!
