Five Things You Need to Know

Here's your "five" for April 19, 2011.

  • Today is the first full day of Passover. will have Passover services today and tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Check their full calendar online for all holiday events.
  • May the force be with you at tonight's Star Wars Training Academy. Kids in first through fifth grade are invited to dress in their favorite costume from the famous movie series from 7:00 to 8:30 at the . Teen volunteers are still needed and you can register online.
  • Rep. Scott Petri (R-Bucks) will hold a town meeting tonight at the library to "gather public input on ways to address the state’s $4 billion shortfall," according to a press release. If you want your voice heard, come out to make an impact on your community.
  • If you have unused or expired medications you no longer have a use for or don't want in your home, bring them to the library before April 30 and they'll be safely disposed of. Find more information in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration program online.
  • Showers in the morning and clouds today but the high will still be in the mid 60s, according to the National Weather Service.
