Five Things You Need to Know

Here's your "five" for Feb. 9, 2011

  • Typewriters are a thing of the past, but if you're not quite savvy enough on a computer you could check out the computer classes the are offering. Introduction to Microsoft Word classes at the  start today, and continue on Feb. 16 and Feb. 23 from 6:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. The fee is $95 for residents and $110 for non-residents, and that includes all three classes. Register here.
  • It's National Marriage Week! If you're married, make sure your sweetheart knows how much you love him or her. And don't forget Valentine's Day is right around the corner!
  • It's going to continue to be windy out there today, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Bundle up and think warm thoughts.
  • Do you aspire to be on Jeopardy? Here's your chance! Jeopardy is currently holding online testing sessions through tomorrow. Register online and study up on your presidents!
  • Both the Council Rock South boys and girls bowling teams meet Bensalem at home today at 3 p.m. Head out and cheer on your Golden Hawks this afternoon.
