Feb. 23: Donate to Churchville's Used Book Sale

Here's your "five" for Thursday.

  • Churchville Elementary is sponsoring a used book sale in honor of Read Across America Day, Mar. 2. They're accepting book donations starting now. Books will be sold for $1 and the proceeds will go to March of Dimes.
  • At the Board of Supervisors meeting last night, the board announced that residents are allowed to start using their new trash receptacles as they receive them. You do not need to wait until May to begin putting them out.
  • In case you missed it: Brian Shipley's friends have compiled a video to him with their messages asking him to come home.
  • A chance of showers in the morning and a high near 60 today, according to the National Weather Service.
  • Last night, the Board of Supervisors approved an ordinance that will require the Traymore Manor residents with contaminated wells to disconnect from those.
