Expected Snowfall may Cause Messy Commute

The National Weather Service has issued hazardous weather outlook for tonight and Tuesday.

The National Weather Service reports that Bucks and Montgomery Counties can expect about an inch of snow overnight—enough to make Tuesday's commute slippery.

The Hazardous Weather Outlook posted by NWS states that an additional inch or so could accumulate Tuesday, possibly mixed with rain. Any remaining snow will probably be washed away by afternoon rain. Here's the NWS forecast:

  • Tonight Snow likely after 1 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 30. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Tuesday Rain and snow before 1 p.m., then rain likely between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., then rain and snow likely after 5 p.m. High near 37. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
