Celebrate New Year's Eve Locally

Why deal with driving to the city and paying a pretty penny for parking when you can stay local to ring in the new year?

Here's a roundup of local New Year's Eve celebrations. Many of these celebrations require purchasing a ticket or making reservations in advance.

Buck Hotel
Where: 1200 Buck Road, Feasterville
Why go: There will be two rooms of entertainment and no ticket purchase necessary. The wedding band Dame will be performing in the presidential ballroom and DJ Johnny will be playing music in the tavern. There is a cash bar and the tavern menu will be available in both rooms.

Steam
Where: 606 2nd Street Pike, Southampton
Why go: Tickets include an open bar from 10 p.m. - 2 a.m., butler served hors d'oeuvres, champagne and party favors at midnight.
Cost: $60/person

Kenny's Spirited Eatery
Where: 1134 Street Rd, Southampton
Why go: Tickets include open mid-shelf bar from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m., appetizers, party favors and a champagne toast. The party will be hosted by "The Crush."
Cost: $40/person

Parx Casino
Where: 2999 Street Rd, Bensalem
Why go: Enjoy a cash bar and live DJ all night long in Parx Casino's Club 360. 
Cost: General admission is $50; reserved seating is $75. Parx is offering an early-bird special for $40 from 5 to 8 p.m. with an open bar. 

Sesame Place
Where: 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne
Why go: Sesame Place is hosting two events the whole family can enjoy. At the Count's Countdown to New Year's, there plenty to eat and lots of hugs to go around as well as tons of singing and dancing. There will also be delicious New Year's Eve themed treats plus fun party favors to help ring in the new year! It will be held New Year's Eve at 12 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Then, Sesame Place will light up the sky with fireworks after the Neighborhood Street Party Night Parade. This will be held between 6 and 6:20 p.m., but is subject to change.
Cost: Adults $27; Children (2-11) $17; Children under 2 are free, but require reservation.

Bella Tori at the Mansion
Where: 321 South Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne
Why go: Enjoy an exclusive New Year’s Eve menu that will include an appetizer, champagne sorbet intermezzo and dessert with each entrée. Click here to view a menu.

Fisher's Tudor House
Where: 1858 Street Rd, Bensalem
Why go: Tickets include an open bar from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., a grand buffet from 9 to 11 p.m., a dessert table, champagne toast, continuous entertainment, noise makers and hats. Click here to view the buffet menu.

Temperance House
Where: 5 South State Street, Newtown
Why go: In addition to a special New Year's Eve dinner menu, enjoy the band Right Turn at Forty in the non-smoking banquet room and a DJ dance party in the tavern. Includes champagne toast at midnight.
Cost: Dinner prices vary. $10 cover for the party.
