Patagonia is Going out of Business

Patagonia Bar and Grill in Richboro will close its doors on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Richboro's Patagonia Bar and Grill will close its doors on Saturday, Nov. 10, according the restaurant's owner.

"We will close Saturday forever," owner Daniel Lucci told Patch.

Lucci and his wife Silvia opened the restaurant about six years ago, when they wanted to be able to accommodate more people than their Newtown restaurant allowed. The couple's other restaurant, Newtown’s Café con Leche, is a cozy BYOB that has been open for 15 years.

But, for the Lucci's, bigger wasn't better. Though the restaurant offered similar dishes that customers love at con Leche, and continued to , the bigger restaurant was too much to maintain.

"It's too much, I can't afford it," Daniel Lucci said.

The bar and restaurant, which is located at 59 Almshouse Rd., will serve its last customers on Saturday. Doors close to business at 10 p.m.

If you'll miss Patagonia's food and service, be sure to visit the Lucci's Newtown restaurant, Cafe con Leche, located at 16 S State St.
