New Businesses Fill Empty Richboro Storefronts

An Italian restaurant and a frozen yogurt shop are two new additions to the Richboro storefront.

One good thing about having a warm winter is the increased likelihood that patrons will want frozen yogurt, and in Richboro is there to offer it to them.

The new store in the Richboro Plaza complex offers 60 rotating frozen yogurt flavors and always features non-fat and non-dairy options. Once you pick your flavor, head down the line to the mix-ins and add as much as you like of their candy, granola, fruit, cereal and more toppings. The dessert costs $0.49 an ounce. 

Co-owner and first-time businesswoman Nicole Hoffman said they wanted the atmosphere to feel comfortable so people would like to spend time there. In addition the bright colors and comfortable seating, there's a kids play area with a chalkboard she said gets use not just from the children.

"It's really nice to see people enjoy themselves here," Hoffman said. 

Across the street is the new , a quaint Italian restaurant featuring affordable lunch and dinner fare.

The restaurant, run by Silicilan brothers Vito and Vincenzo Badalamenti, offers authentic Italian fare in a modern, elegant atmopshere. It's been open since late December and features Chef Bernardo Puleo, who locals may know from his culinary work at .

They offer lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, dinner on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Friday and Saturday nights, patrons can enjoy live music as well.
