Bucks County Community College this week broke ground on a project to bring PECO natural gas service to the college's Newtown Campus.

Bucks County Community College broke ground Monday on a project to bring PECO natural gas service to the college’s Newtown Campus.

According to school officials, switching to natural gas will help the BCCC save nearly 25 percent on its annual energy bills.  The project, expected to be completed in October, includes installing nearly one mile of natural gas main leading to the Swamp Road campus.
