Mercer Bucks Cardiology opened its newest office in Newtown this week.

Mercer Bucks Cardiology opened its newest office in Newtown this week. The office, which will replace its Yardley location, is located on Pheasant Run just across the parking lot from Homewood Suites.

The practice, which has locations in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, provides cardiovascular health services to patients throughout the region, explained Doctor William Hirsch.

Services range from initial and follow up care, to testing, advanced cardiac care procedures, pacemaker and ICD evaluation and more.

The doors to the Newtown location opened Monday, but Mercer Bucks Cardiology is not new to the area. It moved to Pheasant Run from Lower Makefield Township, where it was growing too big for its office on Township Line Road.

Mercer Bucks Cardiology also has offices in Pennington, Lawrenceville and Robbinsville, N.J. Plus, the practice’s Arrhythmia Institute is also located in Newtown.

Mercer Bucks Cardiology has been providing cardiovascular health care services for more than 15 years, Hirsch said.

Hirsch said Mercer Bucks Cardiology officers top-notch care without the hassle of traveling outside of the local area. In fact, some patients even travel to Bucks or Mercer counties to see Hirsch and his team.

He noted the practice has patients from New York, Delaware, the Jersey Shore, Hunterdon County and beyond.

Each of the practice’s 28 doctors are board certified in both cardiology as well as a sub specialty, explained Hirsch.

The new, 13,000 square-foot office has 14 exam rooms and a testing center.

Patients range from 18 to older than 100 years old. “My oldest patient is 101,” Hirsch said.
