With a steady decline in gas prices throughout April, the average price per gallon is nearly 45 cents lower than a year ago, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.
The national average this week is $3.508 for a gallon, down .7 cents from last week.
In Bucks and Montgomery Counties, gas prices dropped another 1.7 cents a gallon to an average of $3.463, that’s 44.4 cents lower than last year’s prices.

The Pennsylvania average retail price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline is also $3.463, down 2.7 cents from a week ago.
Nearby, the cheapest price for regular is $3.42 at Hess in Richboro.
