10 Newtown Borough Eateries to Participate in Restaurant Week

Newtown Borough restaurants and businesses are collaborating to bring diners and shoppers to State Street for Newtown Restaurant Week later this month.

Newtown's restaurant week will be held April 20-24. According to organizers, participating restaurants will offer prix fix deals on breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner.

Participating restaurants include The Brick Hotel, Cafe Con Leche, Pat's Colonial Kitchen, Mom Mom's Pizza, Trattoria Tiramisu, Becky's Newtown Deli, Zebra Striped Whale, Isaac Newton's, State Street Kitchen and Florentino's.

Reservations are recommended for dinner.

“We had restaurant week a few years back and it was very successful at bringing people’s attention to the great places we have to eat in Newtown,” said Newtown Borough Mayor Charles Swartz. “We’re also tying the businesses into the event, where you can present your receipt from your Restaurant Week meal and get discounts from participating merchants and businesses.”
