Fall Arts and Crafts Festival Saturday at Shady Brook

The Makefield Women’s Association will host its Harvest Day event at Shady Brook Farm on Saturday.

The event will go from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. It will feature fine art and handmade items from more than 100 exhibitors, plus food and live entertainment.

According to event organizers, items include: handspun alpaca wool items, hand-poured soy candles, handmade soaps, jewelry, hand-painted recycled furniture, stained glass, mosaics, doll houses, framed photography and more.

The entertainment lineup includes music and demonstrations.

Food will be offered by Dutch Magic, Bondie’s, Uncle Dave’s Ice Cream and the Shady Brook Deli.

Plus, there will be a raffle for more than 15 baskets. This year’s raffle beneficiaries are the Lower Makefield Veterans Square Monument Committee and Bucks for Kids.

All proceeds from the event go to local charities.
