Do It Yourself Christmas Gift: Tea Tray

Between now and the holiday, Northampton Patch will be running a series of Do-It-Yourself Christmas Gift suggestions with step by step instuctions. Best of all, today's gift, a tea or beverage tray, came in at a price of less than ten dollars to make!

For this DIY Tea Tray, you will need:

- Ready-to-paint wooden tray, usually available in three sizes at major craft stores.

- Three sponge brushes

- Elmer's glue

- Acrylic craft paint

- Gloss varish or shellac

- One piece of glass, to match inside of tray. Your local hardware store can cut it to size for you.

- Magazines, catalogs and photographs.
