Bookshop to Host Nationally Acclaimed Writer

Writer Wendy Plump's reading of 'Vow: A Memoir of Marriage (and Other Affairs)' will be held March 7 at 7 p.m. at the Newtown Bookshop.

Nationally acclaimed author Wendy Plump will come to the Newtown Bookshop this month for a reading of her recently-released book "Vow: A Memoir of Marriage (and Other Affairs)."

The reading will be held March 7 at 7 p.m. The event is free.

"In this extremely well-written, unique, 360-degree look, Plump delivers a searing, confessional story about the challenges of marriage. From the view of both betrayer and betrayed, Plump looks at the ordeal of finding out about infidelity, the recovery, passion, and the daily play that can lead to fulfillment or disillusionment," the Newtown Bookshop says on its Patch event listing.
