Where to See the Easter Bunny in Northampton

Looking to take the kids to see the Easter Bunny or enjoy an egg hunt? Here's a look at some local events.

BUNNY EGG-VENTURE

What: Northampton Township Parks and Rec's special Easter event will feature a magic show and egg hunt.

When/where: March 23 at 9:30 a.m. at Maureen M. Welch Elementary School.

Details: The magic show will kick off the event. After that there will be an outdoor journey to find the Easter Bunny.  All participants must pre-register. The cost to participate is $8 per child.

NBA EGG HUNT

What: The Newtown Business Association's annual Easter Egg Hunt

When/where: Saturday, March 23 at 9 a.m. at Pickering Manor Field in Newtown Borough

Details: No pre-registration necessary; come to Pickering Manor North Field, at the corner of Frost Street and Lincoln Avenue, at 9 a.m. sharp.  Member businesses of the NBA will donate prizes for the event and the First National Bank of Newtown will provide more than 3,000 plastic Easter eggs to be filled with prizes and candy donated by Sam’s Club. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to greet the children.

SPRING EGGSTRAVAGANZA

What: Newtown Athletic Club's event will feature an egg hunt, inflatables, crafts, a "bunny trail" obstacle course and more.

When: Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Newtown Athletic Club

Details: Register in advance. The fee is $8 for club members and $12 for non-members. The egg hunt kicks off at 12:30 for ages 1 to 3; 1 p.m. for ages 4 to 6 and 1:30 p.m. for ages 7 and older. Bring a basket to collect goodies.

EASTER EGG HUNT

What: Lower Bucks YMCA's Easter Egg Hunt

When/where: March 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Fairless Hills YMCA, 601 S Oxford Valley Rd.

Details: This free egg hunt is for children 12 and under. For details, call 215-949-3400, ext. 21
